🌹 About Choya Woods There was never just one path for me. I’ve always been a woman who creates space— for beauty, for healing, for transformation. Behind the chair, I’ve spent over 20 years not just styling hair, but witnessing women return to themselves. What starts as a service often becomes something deeper— a shift, a softening, a coming home. But my work doesn’t stop at beauty. I am the founder of Melanin Beauty Bar, a space rooted in intention, artistry, and care— where textured hair is honored and women are seen fully.
